Silica Matting Agent
Matting mechanism:
Our porous silica powder with a high specific surface area disperses evenly in the paint film when added to coatings.
During drying and film formation, its particles protrude to create a micro-uneven surface (micrometer-level roughness). This causes incident light to scatter in all directions instead of forming uniform specular reflection, thus drastically reducing the film’s glossiness.

Core Working Principle
Micron-sized silica particles disperse evenly and partially protrude to form micro-bumps, drastically reducing inter-film contact area.
Protruding particles create micro-gaps, disrupting intermolecular forces and trapping air to weaken adhesion and prevent sticking.
Excellent silica dispersibility forms uniform "support points" for consistent anti-blocking performance and to avoid severe local adhesion.

Physical Shielding & Barrier: Fine silica fills coating gaps to form a dense barrier, blocking corrosive media and corrosion channels on metal surfaces.

Chemical Adsorption & Passivation Assistance: Silane-modified silica bonds with metal hydroxyls to form a protective film, adsorbs impurities, slows electrochemical corrosion.
